At first when I received the news, I slammed the table hard. Wow! Unconsciously.
Bad news. I was disappointed. But of course, there's no one to blame but me!
If I had worked harder!
If...if...and more ifs...
Whatever.
Forget about those if...
Argh! Want to throw something!

Something I saw the day before and today itself again added to my disappointment.

Dr. Randy Pausch

Have you heard of this man named Randy Pausch? No? Yeah, neither did I till last night when I was searching for some interesting lectures on Youtube. I came across this video - Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams. This lecture is also called the Last Lecture. He delivered his 'Last Lecture' on the 18th of September 2007 in Carnegie Mellon University. He offered a lot of things in this lecture and one of them is inspirational life lessons.

When you see yourself doing something badly and nobody’s bothering to tell you anymore, that’s a very bad place to be. Your critics are your ones telling you they still love you and care.

Experience is what you get when you didn’t get what you wanted.

The brick walls are not there to keep us out. The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something. Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough.

You can’t get there alone. People have to help you and I do believe in karma. I believe in paybacks. You get people to help you by telling the truth. Being earnest.

Apologise when you screw up and focus on other people, not on yourself.

Don’t complain. Just work harder.

It’s not about how to achieve your dreams. It’s about how to lead your life. If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself. The dreams will come to you.



Dr. Randy Pausch was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on the 16th of September 2006. Pausch died from pancreatic cancer at his family's home in Chesapeake, Virginia on July 25, 2008 at the age of 47. He is survived by his wife, Jai, and their three children, Dylan, Logan, and Chloe.

SPM results. =)

Finally the time had arrived and passed.
Got up at 8am and waited for friends to come before we headed off to school together. To do what?
Collect our SPM result of course!
Anyway, I was extreamly nervous for real. My heart was beating so fast.
But thank goodness, I'm and satisfied with my result.
I noticed that some people who'd achieved better results than me are not satisfied just because they've not got straight A+. But to me, I've done my best and I'm moving on!
Next stop, STPM.
I'll be even more prepared for the battle!!!

I'm short. I know.

Days, months and years flew by. Just in a blink of eye, its 2010. I never thought I would finish secondary school this fast. I never thought my friends will all be heading their own way this soon. But no matter what, those are the past. I would be 18 in a few months time. At this age, decision making is crucial. Every single decision must be thought carefully, balancing the pros and cons so that there will be no regrets in the future. Help from parents in making decision such as what to do after SPM, what would I study next and so fort had decreased tremendously.

I know you people see me laughing around, cracking jokes, but I've tried being serious and its not working for me. Cause life just seem too dull like that. Call me immature but let me tell you something, my thinkings are totallymature.

PS: Joke around, I'm fine, but please don't take advantage of me. I'm aware of that.

The Hurt Locker was awesome. I watched it on PSS this morning.
The 2 hour movie is a suspenseful portrait of the courage under fire of the military's unrecognized heroes : the techincians of a bomb squad who volunteer to challenge the odds and save lives doing one of the world's most dangerous jobs. Three membbers of the Army's elite Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) squad battle insurgents and one another as they search for and disarm a wave of roadside bombs on the streets of Baghdad. Their mission is clear, protect and save, but it's anything but easy.

The ending wasn't what I thought it would be. It showed Sergeant First Class William James, played by Jeremy Renner who is very good at his job, back at his home in America. But it seems that he could not adjust to a life of family. He tells his baby boy, that life progresses the number of things we love shrinks inexorable. Maybe you think he was talking about his boy, but no, the last scene showed him getting off the helicopter for another tour in Iraq.

Watch it if you've got the time.




They were recently awarded 6 Oscar awards. (Avatar had 3 only if I'm not mistaken) =)

Nervous larh....=S

This coming Thursday will be THE day.
The day that will show if everything I've worked for is worth it or I've not done enough.
I might not be the best student, nor could I hardly make it into the top 10 position in class most of the time, I know I've given my best shots in all those papers. Those papers I took VERY seriously like the others.
I started having sleepless nights when I read about the date we can collect our results in school. Well, I don't think I'm the only one feeling nervous though....

But no matter how scare I am about our results being revealed on Thursday, nothing is going to change. We all will still have to move on with that result we obtained. So hope for the best...
